Hutch Neilson is the head of Advanced Projects Department in Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), US. He manages PPPL’s stellarator programs and advanced design activities. Advanced design activities overseen by him include technical studies for next-generation experimental fusion facilities, such as the collaboration with China on studies of CFETR and DEMO machines.
