报告内容简介:
The negative triangularity (NT) tokamak is an advanced tokamak concept that has been shown to provide significant plasma confinement relevant to fusion reactors while maintaining an L-mode edge. Building on the pioneering HTS magnet design of Vector and recent advances in HTS magnets for the SPARC tokamak, this work develops a conceptual design of an HTS-magnet-based NT tokamak pilot plant. The use of a maximum magnetic field of 21 T enables a significant reduction in machine size. The proposed HTS-NT pilot plant is designed to cover the full set of ITER mission technical objectives and to enable a power-producing high-temperature blanket under fully non-inductive steady-state operation.
