Caroline DARBOS joined the ITER Organization in 2008 and currently serves as the technical responsible officers for the EC(electron cyclotron)  sources, coordinating their development and in charge of the integration, installation and commissioning. Prior to ITER, she worked nine years at CEA on the EC system.

The EC system developed for the ITER project is in line with the needs of the various campaigns, starting with the SRO (Start of Research Operation) which requires 40MW of EC power. The presentation will give an overview of the system and the present status on the development, installation and commissioning of the different components.
